THE WAY FORWARD FROM A CONCERNED NIGERIAN

Not Too Young to Rule law is not enough but a syncronized reduction in the cost of purchasing electoral candidacy ticket.

Not Too Young Rule law is not enough but a corresponding Too Old to Rule law should be enacted.

Electoral laws should be enacted to restrict political parties members from defecting to another party a year to a general or State/regional election. This is to check political greed and reduce political tension.

Taking shades from Canada, ministerial appointments should be strictly based on professionalism as a criteron for holding a particular port folio.

Political party reduction to less than ten(10).

Introduction of online voting with a smart voter’s card and polling machines accross the nation like ATM machines. By this, one can vote any where you are. Again, it would in more good than harm check electors malpractices.

A separate body should be set up by the president to review/refix the exhubitant salaries aside allowance earned by legislators especially.

A mandatory review of a National minimum wage every four(4) years to meet up or in correspondence to the economic growth status of the nation.

And that concerned Nigerian is me!
